In his third 7DAYS EuroCup season, big man Kenny Kadji celebrated Tofas Bursa's first home game with a spectacular performance that not only put his team in the win column, but also earned him the MVP honor for Round 2. In a 96-79 victory over visiting Arka Gdynia, Kadji accumulated a performance index rating of 34, the best among EuroCup players on winning teams in Round 2, thanks to his 27 points and 10 rebounds. All three figures were career highs for him. Kadji shot well, too, making 7 of 8 two-pointers and 3 of 5 from downtown, and dished 3 assists, tying his personal best. He also blocked 1 shot while drawing 7 fouls. Kadji's PIR was tied with Jarrod Uthoff of Zenit St. Petersburg, who netted 25 points on 5-for-5 three-point shooting to go with 10 rebounds and 2 blocks in a road loss to Partizan NIS Belgrade. The third-best PIR of this round belonged to Reggie Upshaw of MoraBanc Andorra, who had 29 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists for a PIR of 30 in his team's home win over Germani Brescia Leonessa. Nigel Hayes of Galatasaray Istanbul scored 26 points and pulled 13 rebounds for a 29 PIR, fourth-best this round. His team lost in double-overtime to ratiopharm Ulm, for whom forward Javonte Green posted 16 points, 7 rebounds and 6 steals for a PIR of 27. That tied him for fifth-best with Diante Garrett, Kadji's teammate, who helped Tofas win with 23 points and 9 assists.

MoraBanc's Upshaw was also the top scorer of Round 2 with 29 points, while Hayes of Galatasaray leads EuroCup in scoring after two rounds with 22.5 points per game. Hayes and Uros Lukovic of Mornar Bar each had 13 rebounds to lead all players in this round. Ian Hummer of AS Monaco, who is averaging 10 rebounds, is the current rebounding leader. Sam Van Rossom of Valencia Basket had 12 assists, the most in Round 2. Peyton Siva of ALBA Berlin and Gal Mekel of Zenit lead the competition with 10 assists on average. Green of Ulm starred with 6 steals this week, while ALBA's Rokas Giedraitis is the leader in this category with 4.5 per game. Augusto Lima of Cedevita Zagreb is the only player with 3 blocks in Round 2. Galatasaray's Zach Auguste leads all shot blockers this season with 2.5 per game.
