All Star Game Coaches Announced

FIBA Europe announced the coaches that will lead the two teams from Europe and the Rest of the World at the EuroLeague Women All Star Game which will be played in Gdynia, Poland on March 8th.

Europe will be led by George Dikeoulakos, the Lotos Gdynia Head Coach. Dikeoulakos led Sony Athinaikos to a much celebrated EuroCup Women title in 2010 and is also leading Latvia into EuroBasket Women 2011 as their head coach. Dikeoulakos will be assisted by Jose I. Hernandez, the coach of Wisla Can-Pack Krakow.

Hungarian Coach Laszlo Ratgeber will be at the helm of the Rest of the World team. The coach of Fenerbahce has the best record in the EuroLeague Women so far with 12 wins and no loss. He is assisted by UMMC Ekaterinburg's Gundars Vetra.

The coaches will not only lead practice and coach during the game but also take part in a coaching clinic that is held in Gdynia on March 8th.
The hosting club, Lotos Gdynia also announced the medical staff for the event.

The responsible doctor will be Dr. Maciej Szubinski while Jaroslaw Popiolkiewicz will be the team physio for the Rest of the World and Europe will be supported by physio Seweryn Sroka.
