After voting closed for the EuroLeague Women All-Star Game 2010 on Jan 31st,, FIBA Europe has announced the top vote-getter and thus starters in the game which will feature Europe taking on the Rest of the World and will take place in Gdynia, Poland on March 9th.
The Top-5 vote-getters in the public vote for the Europe team by position were:

C-Nevriye Yilmaz
F-Sandrine Gruda

G- Becky Hammon

The Top-5 vote-getters for the Rest of the World by position were:
G-Diana Taurasi
G-Penny Taylor
F-Nicole Powell

Powell falls under the rule which sets a limit of two players per club participating in the All-Star Game. Fernandez and Taylor received more votes and they will be the two players representing Fenerbahce in the All-Star Game. The same rule applies for the player with the next most votes, Cappie Pondexter of UMMC Ekaterinburg. This means the player replacing Nicole Powell will be Candice Dupree of Good Angels Kosice.

FIBA Europe will announce the rest of both line-ups, together with the coaches and medical staff within the next week. The participants of the three-point shooting contest, which will take place at half-time of the game will also be announced then.
